FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to counteracting radio-electronic reconnaissance, creating false radar conditions, passive camouflage from radar systems of weapons and can be used, in particular, in masking curtains created from dipole reflectors. To create a radar curtain of dipole reflectors, stacks of dipole reflectors are placed above the protected object. At the same time, dipole reflectors are made of thin strips of metallized paper tapes, aluminium foil or thread from nylon, glass fibre coated with metal layer. Length of tapes is selected equal to half of wave length of radar station. Ribbons are fastened on a coating made of parachute fabric and equipped with a weighting agent.
EFFECT: enabling reusable use of sets of radar curtains, broader functional capabilities of radar curtains, in terms of using curtains, both in air space and on the surface of the Earth.
