FIELD: package and storage.

SUBSTANCE: can consists of housing (10) and cover (4), wherein housing is made of one piece of homogeneous material and has edge defining upper hole of can. Housing is also provided with protruding collar (23) extending along body perimeter adjacent to said edge and providing presence of sealing surface (24), which faces inward and has in cross section, substantially constant dimension along axis. In order to ensure tight connection of the cover to the housing, the cover has an outwardly facing sealing surface resting against the sealing surface facing inwards and formed by the above collar of the housing. Alternative can body is equipped with crimped or squeezed first collar facing inwards and forming upward facing sealing surface (34), conjugated with bottom facing sealing surface of the can cover. Besides, this alternative housing between its edge and the first collar has second protruding collar (35), and external cover bend (42) is configured to be fixed between two beads of the alternative body.

EFFECT: invention relates to metal cans having no cover ring and suitable for use with detachable covers.
