FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to maxillofacial surgery and dentistry, can be used during velouranoplasty surgery in patients with cleft palate. In the soft palate nasal mucosa area and tongue of lesser length, small transverse incisions are made, depth and number required to level the length of soft palate tissues and tongue with tissues of the opposite side. Soft palate tissues and tab with small transverse incisions are stretched as "accordion", which allows to elongate smaller fragment of soft palate and lug, then two halves of nasal mucosa and lugs are symmetrically sewed together. Oral and nasal mucosa are fixed between themselves with one or more U-shaped sutures.
EFFECT: method enables eliminating asymmetry of the soft palate, forming a correct physiological shape of the tongue, preventing displacement of the mucoperiosteal flaps into the initial position, reducing the formation of coarse scars in the soft palate and providing active muscle work.
