FIELD: production technology; chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a thermoplastic resin composition which, even when it contains filler, reduces the contradiction between stiffness and impact strength to achieve a good balance between impact strength and rigidity, as well as a method for production thereof and a molded body. This thermoplastic resin composition is obtained by mixing a polyolefin resin containing an inorganic filler of a polyamide resin and a modified elastomer, having a reactive group which reacts with the polyamide resin. This composition of thermoplastic resin contains polyolefin resin, which has number-average molecular weight of 350,000 or more, and polyamide resin. Polyamide resin has a structure in which a hydrocarbon group located between adjacent bonds of the amide in the main chain has a linear chain of 5 or less carbon atoms. Molded body consists of this thermoplastic resin composition. Method of producing a thermoplastic resin composition involves a step of mixing a polyolefin resin and a melt-blended product from a polyamide resin and a modified elastomer in a melt.
