FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention constitutes a shock absorber containing an olefin-based polymer composition produced by mixing an olefin resin, a polyamide resin and a modified elastomer, wherein the olefin-based polymer composition has a dispersion medium containing an olefin resin and a dispersed phase based on a polyamide resin dispersible in a dispersion medium; the dispersed phase based on the polyamide resin has a structure wherein the modified elastomer is contained in a matrix phase containing the polyamide resin; the olefin resin is a polypropylene resin; the polyamide resin is nylon 11; the modified elastomer is a maleic anhydride modified copolymer of butene and ethylene; wherein the total amount of the olefin resin, the polyamide resin and the modified elastomer is 100% by weight, the content of olefin resin is 30 wt.% or more but 55 wt.% or less, the content of polyamide resin is 25 wt.% or more but 60 wt.% or less, and the content of the modified elastomer is 10 wt.% or more, but 20 wt.% or less; the shock absorber has a shock absorbing frame (3) with a shock absorbing wall (2), a tubular hollow part (5) surrounded by a shock absorbing wall (2), and another wall (7) covering one end side of the hollow part (5); the shock absorbing wall (2) has a plane direction corresponding with the direction of application of the shock load, and is destructible for absorbing the shock when exposed to the shock load; and the shock absorbing wall (2) is based on said other wall (7) and is formed integrally with said other wall (7).

EFFECT: production of a shock absorber with excellent shock resistance and excellent shock absorbing properties.
