SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for cleaning dishes. Described is a method for machine washing dishware contaminated with fat residues, characterized in that said method is carried out at a temperature in range of 45 to 65 °C and using at least one composition containing (A) at least one complexing agent selected from sodium salts of citric acid and methylglycine diacetic acid, (B) at least one nonionic surfactant of general formula (I) R¹-CH(OH)-CH₂-O-(AO)_x-R² (I) (C) at least one copolymer selected from polyalkoxylated polyalkylene imines and polyalkoxylated polyalkanolamines, wherein said polyalkoxylated polyalkylene imines and polyalkoxylated polyalkanolamines can contain at most 25 mol. % of ethylene oxide moieties in their polyalkylene oxide chains, referring to their total content of alkylene oxide, where: R¹ is selected from C₄-C₃₀-alkyl, unbranched or branched, and from C₄-C₃₀-alkylene, unbranched or branched, with at least one C-C double bond, R² is selected from C₁-C₃₀-alkyl, unbranched or branched, and from C₂-C₃₀-alkylene, straight or branched, with at least one C-C double bond, x are selected from one to 100, AO identical or different alkylene oxides selected from CH₂-CH₂-O, (CH₂)₃-O, (CH₂)₄-O, CH₂CH(CH₃)-O, CH(CH₃)-CH₂-O- and CH₂CH(n-C₃H₇)-O.

EFFECT: method of cleaning dishware contaminated with fat without removing large residues of surfactant and fat on filters or sieve dishwashing machines without loss of quality.
