FIELD: fire-fighting equipment.

SUBSTANCE: method consists in the fact that in case of fire in a room (compartment), its volume is blown with cold atmospheric (outboard) air. As a result, average volume temperature drops, combustion is stopped or stopped altogether, and combustion products are removed outside, which ensures safety of personnel, facilitates actions of fire departments and makes it possible to restore object as soon as possible. Essence of the device consists in that the room (compartment) is equipped with normally closed heat-insulated manholes in its opposite parts, and in one of the hatches a fan is installed. In case of fire, hatches are opened, fan is switched on and blowing volume with cold atmospheric (overboard) air.

EFFECT: use: in fire safety systems of stationary and mobile objects operating in low temperature conditions.
