FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: present invention refers to medicine, namely to a method for prediction of an infiltrative form transition into a suppurative disease in a patient with zooantroponoze trichophytosis. A method for predicting the transition of the infiltrative form into a suppurative disease in a patient with zooantroponoze trichophytosis, involving blood examination on 1-5th day of treatment, conducting a general clinical blood test, calculating a modified leukocyte intoxication index (LMII) by formula: LMII=(mc.+pl.+y.+bc.+s.)/(l.+m.+e.+b.), where: mc. – myelocytes; y. – young; bc. – band cell; s. – segmented neutrophils; pl. – plasma cells; l. – lymphocytes; m – monocytes; e. – eosinophils; b. – basophils; and with LMII value of 2.5 s.u. and higher predict probability of transition of infiltrative trichophytosis into suppurative.

EFFECT: disclosed method is effective for predicting the transition of the infiltrative form into the suppurative form of the disease.
