FIELD: fire safety; vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for fire protection of a vehicle and a device for its implementation. Method is intended to prevent ignition of moving vehicle with external arrangement of fuel tanks during ignition of energy carrier. Method is implemented by throwing off a burning fuel tank by means of a device which contains a tank holder in the form of a frame space L-shaped structure. Holder is hinged to car frame frame hinge and locked in working position by lock mechanism. Fuel tank is arranged and fixed in the holder cavity. Tilting mechanism of the holder comprises: a pushing tank panel, a pusher, a traction cable and a consumable panel. Expendable fabric is made in the form of strip of flexible fabric or mesh width, larger width of wheel of car, and with load on lower end face is placed in box-container. Container is placed in front of wheel in direction of car movement from below under holder and fixed with cover by means of electromagnetic lock. Device switch is placed in the cabin and connected to the vehicle on-board network. For the fire fuel tank to be thrown off by the electromagnetic valve, the power supply system is switched to the non-burning tank if necessary and the device is switched on. Electromagnetic lock opens the box-container cover, it opens, the load falls on the road, pulling the consuming cloth behind it. Vehicle wheel rides on web and pulls it. Stretching force in the web is transmitted via traction cable and pusher to pushed panel and fuel tank causing their transverse motion. Fuel tank is disconnected, the holder is opened. It is turned or tilted about the longitudinal axis until the posts stay in the base limiters. Under action of gravity tank is accelerated and discarded. Fuel pipes from fuel lines and electric wire from fuel level sensor are broken. Expendable cloth in attachment of upper end is detached from traction cable. Vehicle passes along the consuming panel and continues further movement.
EFFECT: providing fire protection.
