SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a container for producing biogas, as well as a biogas plant. Container is formed by main section and lower section located under main section, where lower section has annularly closed circulation channel in form of groove. Circulation channel has inlet for medium inlet into circulation channel, outlet hole for medium removal from circulation channel. There is also a bypass line connecting the outlet hole with the inlet and means for changing the cross-section of the bypass line. Biogas plant includes a container built into the ground with at least a lower section, and under the lower section there is a gravel bed.
EFFECT: invention provides effective prevention of clogging and sedimentation with low power consumption.
