FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for operational control of high-voltage non-linear overvoltage limiters (NSL), made based on varistors, used in protection systems of electric networks against lightning and switching overvoltage pulses. This result is achieved supplying electronic circuits of the meter during recording of current pulse through NSL due to energy of this pulse. Subject of invention, providing for this result, are electric circuits, which take part of current pulse energy through NSL and supply electronic circuits of the counter, while the meter analyzes and records data into its nonvolatile memory. There is no need for autonomous or external power sources.
EFFECT: improving reliability and durability of the meter, as well as reducing its cost.
