SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to endocrinology, and aims at determining the aging stage of the reproductive system in central female hypogonadism. Method involves collecting and assessing anamnesis and laboratory and functional diagnostic data. In the absence of spontaneous menarche, full loss of the reproductive period is stated. In the presence of a reproductive period with at least one episode of spontaneous menarche with the possibility of independent recovery of menstrual function after hormonal replacement therapy, determining the aging stage of the reproductive system is considered impossible. Blood serum is analyzed for levels of luteinizing hormone, follicle-stimulating hormone and estradiol and MRI of the hypothalamic-pituitary region is performed, and if luteinizing hormone levels are detected ≤1.95 units/l, follicle-stimulating hormone ≤3.9 units/l and estradiol ≤70 pmol/l, organic changes in the hypothalamic-pituitary region in the presence of a reproductive period with at least one spontaneous menarche episode with the inability to independently restore menstrual function are determined by the aging stage of the reproductive system as a post-menopause of central genesis.

EFFECT: method provides higher accuracy of determining stages of aging of the reproductive system in the given group of patients by determining reference values of post-menopausal markers of central genesis.
