AGENT HAVING ANTICONVULSANT ACTIVITY Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A61K36/45 A61P25/08 A61P25/10 A61P25/12

Abstract RU 2714687 C1

FIELD: medicine; pharmaceutics.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and pharmaceutics. Disclosed is the use of the acetone fraction of the dry chloroform extract from shoots Empetrum nigrum L. as an anticonvulsant. Acetone fraction is obtained by double extraction with boiling chloroform in round bottom flask with reflux ratio at raw material : extractant ratio of 1:10. Combined extracts are evaporated to dryness in a rotary evaporator. Dry chloroform extract is extracted three times with acetone at room temperature and continuously stirring at an extract : extractant ratio is 1:10. Combined acetone extract is evaporated in a rotary evaporator to 1/3 volume and dried by convection.

EFFECT: expressed anticonvulsant activity of the agent comparable to carbamazepine, while increasing life expectancy of experimental animals on models strychnine and corazole convulsions by 54 % and 85 % respectively, survival rate of experimental animals was 20 % in both experiments.
