SUBSTANCE: vehicle is disclosed. Vehicle comprises a controller in communication with a keypad of a vehicle and a keyfob for keys authorized to access a vehicle. Controller is configured to enter the programming mode of the keypad in response to receiving a predetermined sequence, which includes pressing the keys of the remote control elements. Controller is configured to receive a personal code entered into the keypad in the programming mode of the keypad. Controller is configured to store a personal code for comparison with an input from a keypad, which requires unlocking a vehicle received after exiting the programming mode of the keypad. Keyfob includes a first keyfob and a second keyfob, and a predetermined sequence includes pressing a button from a first keying control element located on the first keyfob, and a second button pressing a second keyfob control located on the second keyfob. Disclosed also are method of unlocking vehicle door and vehicle.

EFFECT: enabling use of the sequence introduced from the keyfob for replacement of the factory button code for accessing the programming mode of the keypad.
