FIELD: cattle breeding.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for calculating a score of body condition, live weight and fertility status by mathematical processing of a number of characteristic morphological features of the analysed object, which uses at least one contact or contactless device for determining profile 109 of an animal, at least one data processing unit and a program which employs a special mathematical interpretation method. Use of such method provides determination of fatness of animal and its synthetic index of fattening or FI irrespective of specific signs, breed, sex, age and absolute size of analysed animal.
EFFECT: this method is also characterized by resistance to possible errors in positioning the apparatus by the operator.
