FIELD: fish farming.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for use in aquaculture enterprises to evaluate growing and breeding objects. In the studied group of planting material, the average values of fish farming-biological, morphometric, morphophysiological and ichthyopathological indicators are determined. For the period preceding the assessment, the survival rate of fish, the increase in average live weight, and the feed ratio are determined. The values of the obtained indicators are compared with reference values and assessed in points. In absence of violations of the integument of the body and fins, changes in the colour of organs, changes in the structure of the tissues of internal organs, changes in muscle tissue, inflammatory processes, one more point is added for each indicator; in presence of violations, no point is added. The points received are summed up, and, based on the amount received, the objects of cultivation and breeding are evaluated.
EFFECT: ability to carry out a comprehensive assessment of rainbow trout seeding material according to all significant indicators of productivity and breeding value, as well as to identify groups of fish suitable for breeding work or commercial cultivation.
