SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to apparatus (1) for making filters, designed to form a hollow body of filter material, wherein apparatus for making filters comprises: feeding line adapted for continuous supply of filter material along longitudinal direction (30) of transportation; forming device (4) connected to the end of the supply line and adapted to impart a shape of the hollow rod-shaped body from the filtering material to the filtering material and to feed the formed body from the filtering material, wherein forming device comprises: tubular forming element (8) adapted to allow passage of filter material through it; pin (34) passing in longitudinal direction inside tubular forming element, wherein pin has some pin diameter; device (40) for change of diameter, adapted to change pin diameter, in order to obtain a body from filtering material, having through hole with variable diameter.
EFFECT: disclosed is apparatus for making filters.
