SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a device for making filters, comprising: a supply line adapted for continuous supply of filter material along the longitudinal direction of transportation; forming device attached to the end of the supply line and adapted to impart a rod-shaped continuous body of filtering material to the filtering material and to feed the formed continuous body from the filtering material, wherein the forming device comprises: tubular element adapted to allow passage of filtration material therethrough to impart a continuous body of filter material to the filter material; a heat source adapted to heat the filter material passing in the tubular member; device for measuring diameter, located near outlet hole of forming device and adapted to measure diameter of continuous body of filter material.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for making filters.
