SUBSTANCE: method (1100) for optimal storage of data on load for prediction of service life of an element of equipment used during operation of wells includes the following: using the service life model for the equipment element used during well operation; calculating, using processing device (102), the segment size using one of the following: service life model and distribution of load data; sampling, using processing device (102), a load data spectrum in one or more segments using the calculated segment size; collecting data on load on equipment element; assignment, by device (102) of processing, collected data on load to one or more segments of spectrum of data on load; storing, by processing device (102), collected load data assigned to one or more segments in memory (104); determining, using the processing device, estimating the service life of the equipment item based on the load data assigned to one or more segments in the load data spectrum and stored in memory; and replacement or restart of equipment element based on evaluation of service life.
EFFECT: improved functioning of processing devices due to more effective memory usage.
