FIELD: radio equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in airspace monitoring systems to determine aircraft coordinates (AC) using AC navigation signals of global navigation satellite system (GNSS) and pseudo-satellite signals (PS) for illumination. In the method of determining coordinates of an aircraft in a satellite-pseudo-satellite multi-position surveillance system comprising N satellites with coordinates xj, yj, zj, j = 1, 2 …, N, M pseudo-satellite with coordinates xj, yj, zj, j = N+1, N+2 …, N+M, and receiver with coordinates xP, yP, zP, in radio visibility zone of which there is an aircraft with the desired coordinates x, y, z, aircraft coordinates are determined based on measurements on scattered signals of distances Rj along propagation path "j-th navigation satellite, pseudosatellite – aircraft –receiver" using direct solution of system of corresponding non-linear equations for calculation of coordinates.
EFFECT: high accuracy of determining coordinates of an aircraft in a satellite-pseudo-satellites multi-position surveillance system.
