FIELD: radar ranging and radio navigation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radar ranging, in particular, to systems for determining location of aircraft with a multi-position non-radiating observation system "navigation satellites – aerial targets – receiver", in which for illumination of aerial targets signals of navigation satellites of global navigation satellite systems (GNSS) are used. At the same time in the receiver there is unknown information on the belonging of the measured distances of any air target. Method of identifying position measurements and determining the location of aerial targets in a spatially distributed radio navigation system in conditions of a multi- targets environment determines the coordinates of M aerial targets based on measurements on scattered signals of distances along the propagation path "n-th navigation satellite – m-th air target – receiver".
EFFECT: identification of the calculated coordinates from measurements of sums of distances from aerial targets to navigation satellites and a receiver, coordinates of which are known.
