SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to cosmetology and discloses a hair fixing composition, a method for production thereof and use of a polyglycosose-based cellulose ester polymer for hair fixation in a hair fixing composition. Hair fixing composition contains at least one polyglucose polymer based on a carboxylated cellulose ester, an alcohol-based solvent system and a cosmetically acceptable additive. Polyglucose polymer is obtained by reacting at least one cellulose ester with an anhydride, which is soluble in an alcohol-based solvent system.
EFFECT: group of inventions can be used for personal hygiene for fixation of hair.
