FIELD: accessories for skates.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sport and concerns design of skating skate blade sharpening device. Device for sharpening a skate blade, characterized by the presence on the end surface of the blade of the longitudinal groove, comprises a cutting disc, according to the invention, the cutting disc is located between two jaws made of a strong material, the plane of the disc and the jaws are parallel to each other, wherein disc and jaws are rigidly fixed on common axis, jaws are installed symmetrically to each other at distance corresponding to thickness of skate blade and providing arrangement of blade between jaws, each flap includes first two opposite sides, made rectilinear, parallel to each other, located at a distance of not more than 15 mm from each other, two other opposite sides of each pin are arc-shaped with a radius greater than the radius of the cutting disc with formation of a groove, limited on one side facing opposite each other internal opposite surfaces of both jaws, and on the other side – end side of the cutting disc.
