FIELD: sports equipment. SUBSTANCE: skate blade has main central runner and side runners positioned laterally of main runner. Skate blade has three parts positioned lengthwise of blade: central sliding part with runners positioned at one level, rear and front parts with side runners positioned at respective sides of main runner at higher level with respect to main runner so that they come into engagement with ice surface only when blade is in inclined position. Side runners are preferably extending along the whole length of main runner. EFFECT: improved sliding properties of skates, provision for improved accomplishment of turns on ice and improved engagement of skates with ice surface. 9 cl, 12 dwg
