FIELD: ventilation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to structural components of ventilation and/or conditioning systems, specifically to a device for sound-insulated air ducts. Sound-insulated air duct comprising an outer box made in the form of a metal pipe of rectangular cross-section with wall thickness of 0.4 to 3 mm; wherein it comprises layer of noise-absorbing material with thickness of not more than 50 mm; means of connecting the sound absorbing material layer to the outer box, comprising at least one spring member configured to press the sound absorbing material layer to the outer box from the inside; wherein noise absorbing material layer with its outer surface adjoins at least part of inner surface of outer box.
EFFECT: this allows increasing noise insulation properties of domestic air duct while maintaining its compactness, appearance and ease of installation.
