SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the noise-attenuating covering designated for the reduction of the aerodynamic noise; the texturized noise-attenuating covering of air-ducting channels of the heating and ventilation system of the passenger's room (the driver's compartment) of the vehicle contains the noise-attenuating panels with the front surface containing the protecting layer of the sound transparent gas and damp-proof film or cloth mounted by means of the assembly adhesive on the internal surfaces of the sidewalls of the air-ducting elements and/or on the surfaces of the carrying frames of the regulating throttles or on the surfaces of the airflow dividers; the noise-attenuating panels are made narrow-banded and detached, predominantly rectangular in shape; their width counts to bpan=(l.0... 10.0)hpan, and the width of the gaps in between them amounts to bgap=(0.2...3.0)hpan, whereat hpan is the width of the narrow-banded, detached noise-attenuating panels at that the total perimeter of the outlines projections of the narrow-banded, detached noise-attenuating Ptotal covering exceeds not less than in two times the outline perimeter Pper of the compared equal with respect to the area front surface of the monolithic noise-attenuating panel.

EFFECT: enhancement of the acoustic characteristics of the noise-attenuating covering.
