SUBSTANCE: present invention generally relates to a method for laser printing of photographic images on glass articles (with 3D effect or stamping effect). Disclosed laser image printing device on the glass article comprises a glass article and a layer of the composition applied on the surface of said article. Said layer of composition is applied by laser printing means configured to obtain data files or image formats from computing means, and said laser printing apparatus is configured to print a photographic image. Printing a photo image onto a layer of composition involves applying a layer of composition on the said surface of the glass article, laser printing the photographic image on said layer of composition article using at least laser printing means and heating said surface of the glass article. Said photographic image is a colour image with three-dimensional (3D) or embossed effect.
EFFECT: providing laser printing of monochrome or colour photoimages and inscriptions directly on the surface of a glass article, with an image resolution of at least 3000 pixels per inch (118 pixels per millimetre).
