FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for comparison and synchronization of time scales of remote objects using a fiber-optic communication line connecting objects. Proposed device consists of two components arranged at objects spaced apart from each other. Each object contains event timers with time scale generating generator connected to them at the first object and intermediate generator on the second object, optical pulse receivers and computers. Second facility intermediate generator is connected to time scale generating generator and computer of this object. Optical pulses generators of both objects are connected to inputs of corresponding splitters-couplers units, wherein splitter couplers units include fiber-optic splitters connected to fiber-optic couplers and splitters, wherein fiber-optic couplers are connected to inputs of optical pulse receivers and splitters, which are also connected to a fiber-optic communication line, which connects two remote objects. Optical pulse generator of the second object is connected to an echo generator which is connected to a receiver of optical pulses of the second object. Computers of both objects are connected to a system for transmitting information on time intervals (for example, an Ethernet network, a wireless network, etc.).
