FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: self-closing check valve comprises a hollow volumetric box with inlet and outlet holes, a valve body with an inclined axis relative to the horizontal plane, located inside the box, and a gate in the form of a ball located inside the valve body. Box is provided with at least one outlet opening, which is the self-closing check valve outlet. In the box cavity there is at least one valve body with an inclined axis relative to the horizontal plane, in the form of a conic pipe of round cross section with diameter decreasing along its axis, wherein lower narrow conical tube end is tightly fixed in corresponding mounting inlet opening of box. End of the pipe is an input conically tapering hole of the valve. Pipe part inside the box is equipped with at least one window for air flow passage directed to the valve outlet. Inside the conic pipe there is a ball gate, which has the possibility of free movement inside the pipe, the diameter of which is smaller than the internal diameter of the pipe in its wide end and is approximately equal, but not less than its inner diameter in its narrow end. Length of the conical tube and its arrangement inside the box are such that free movement of the ball gate inside the conical tube is limited between the input conically tapering opening of the valve and the wall part of the box, while preventing the ball valve from leaving the tube via its widest part a wide opening or tube, which is further provided with a limiter, or the rotary valve is bounded inside the tube part via the bearing structure. Ball valve proper weight and conical pipe inclination such that in the absence of air flow directed to the valve outlet, the ball valve is located at the inlet conically tapering bore and in the presence of force directed to the ventilation shaft caused by pressure difference on both sides of the valve, the ball valve can overcome the inclination of its trajectory and stay at a distance from the inlet opening. Axis of conic pipe can be oriented in vertical direction. Valve is tightly fixed by means of suitable method output, at least one hole in inlet of ventilation device, or tightly valve is fixed at outlet of ventilation device.

EFFECT: self-closing check valve is disclosed for complete stop of return air flow through ventilation devices and appliances.
