SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device and method of local authorization of transactions on card with stored sum. Device comprises a POS or computer network node interface, which enables selective communication with POS or computer network node; card processor interface with stored sum, which enables selective communication with processor of cards with stored sum; and a processing module which enables selective decision making with respect to certain transaction requests on the stored amount card, wherein during communication time intervals with the stored amount memory card processor, the processing module does not make decisions regarding certain transaction requests on the stored amount card, but passes such requests directly to the stored amount card processor, and during periods of communication absence with processor of cards with stored sum, processing module locally makes decisions regarding certain transaction requests on card with stored sum, wherein transactions on the card with the stored amount are activation, deactivation, repeated downloads and/or replenishment transactions.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability of local authorization of transactions.
