FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for obtaining fresh water from water vapors contained in ambient atmospheric air, and can be used for obtaining fresh water mainly in conditions of natural water reservoir, for example, sea. Device includes a fan with an air duct, a heat exchanger made multichannel with expanders attached to its air duct and fixed at its two ends. Heat exchanger covers the underwater part of the ship hull with formation of the left and right branches relative to its nose part and consists of the system (sting) of metal tubes having in the middle part of the heat exchanger outlets for collection of fresh water into the receiving vessel from its left and right branches. System of metal tubes of the multichannel heat exchanger is discrete – from pieces of metal tubes interconnected by elastic couplings with limiting rings put on them with formation of a gap between steel pipes and ship hull. O boundary rings are made in the form of disk-shaped loads enclosed in rubber rings. Air duct together with the heat exchanger are made in the form of a closed circuit with two valves for air outlet, between which a fan is built.
EFFECT: enabling compact arrangement of the device, complete elimination of the need to protect against waves, high efficiency of obtaining fresh water, simple design.
