FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: present group of inventions relates to devices and methods for extracting inert gas from an article containing an inert gas, preferably xenon. Device comprises a receiving module, which is a sealed vacuum container, which comprises an inlet for receiving an article containing an inert gas, and a means of destroying an article containing an inert gas, output of receiving module is connected by pipeline with valve for delivery of extracted inert gas, made with possibility of connecting vessel for storage of inert gas, and can be used, for example, for collection of inert gas, mainly xenon, from arc cinema projector lamps. According to the invention as a device, the output of the receiving module is connected to a vacuum pump, and also the output of the receiving module is connected by means of a pipeline through a filter to the freezing agent input, the output of which is connected to the gas holder, which is connected through compressor with valve for delivery of extracted inert gas. Method realizes operation of said device.
EFFECT: safe extraction with minimum losses of inert gas from products containing inert gas, while ensuring purity of obtained inert gas of not less than 99 %.
