METHOD OF EXTRACTING ESSENTIAL OIL AND SUPERCRITICAL CO-EXTRACT OF CHINESE MAGNOLIA VINE SEED MEAL AND TRANSDERMAL OINTMENT BASED THEREON Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC C11B9/02 A61K36/79 A61K131/00 A61K9/06

Abstract RU 2715894 C2

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method for extraction of essential oil from Chinese magnolia vine leaves consists in raw materials milling, drying and extraction by way of liquid solvent passing through it, at that, consists of two stages: during the first stage, an essential oil is obtained by distillation with steam, followed by liquid-liquid extraction of distillate with diethyl ether and distillation of solvent by heating under vacuum, during the second step, produced at the first stage, Chinese magnolia vine meal cake is filtered and dried at temperature of 40 °C to moisture content of not more than 4 %, and further extraction of ground magnolia-vine seed meal extraction cake with carbon dioxide in supercritical state, at constant flow rate of CO2 (1.5 ± 0.05 kg/h), temperature (50 °C) and pressure (30 MPa) for 2 hours to obtain supercritical carbon dioxide extract (CO2-extract), which is separated at temperature not higher than 20 °C and pressure of 0.5 MPa, then products of two stages are combined. Transdermal ointment consists of magnolia vine essential oil and supercritical carbon dioxide extract (CO2-extract) Chinese magnolia vellum cake as an active principle and simultaneously a polyethylene oxide-based penetrator consisting of a mixture of polyethylene oxide-1500 and polyethylene oxide-400, with following ratio of components, wt. %: Chinese magnolia vine seed essential oil 1.8–2.5; supercritical carbon dioxide extract (CO2-extract) of Chinese magnolia vine oil meal 9.2–12.0; polyethylene oxide-400 59.85–62.30; polyethylene oxide-1500 25.65–26.7.

EFFECT: invention relates to method of extracting essential oil from Chinese magnolia vine, as well as to transdermal ointment based on it.
