FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to electric infrared heaters, and is intended for warming and heating of residential or other premises and buildings. In the infrared heater, having a heating panel consisting of at least two glass plates fixed at a certain distance from each other, on the inner surface of one of the glass plates a current-conducting heated coating is made, wherein heater comprises housing, in which heating panel is fixed, and outer glass plates of heating panel are made of at least one tempered glass, and on the inner surface of the second outer hardened glass plate of the heating panel there is a selective heat-reflecting coating.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in durability and reliability of heater operation.
