FIELD: wireless communication equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mobile communication wireless technology using directed beams. Invention discloses, in particular, a method of configuring settings for forming a beam, which is performed by a wireless radio transceiver device, configured to perform communication and comprises a step receiving an indication of characteristics requiring configuration of settings for beam formation of a wireless device of a radio transceiver, selecting a similarity measurement target based on which indication of characteristics has been obtained, determining the order, in which it is necessary to evaluate the directed beams when configuring settings for beam formation, based on the similarity measurement target and the results of the similarity measurement procedure applied to the pairs of received signals.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure the presence of an effective beam.
