FIELD: lighting.
SUBSTANCE: methods and device, related to a lighting device based on light-emitting diodes (LED), are disclosed. The lighting device has a touch-sensitive light-emitting surface that a user can touch to change the light output characteristics of the LED of the lighting device. The LED-based lighting device includes a flexible touch-sensitive layer and a flexible light-emitting layer having a plurality of individually controlled LED groups. Touch events can be detected by an input signal from the flexible touch-sensitive layer, and, at least, one light output characteristic of the LED groups changes in accordance with touch events.
EFFECT: simplified control of light output characteristics.
