FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: proposed invention relates to neutron collimator. Proposed device comprises rectangular metal housing (2) with four sections (10) of grate (9) made of refractory metal. Each section (10) of grid (9) is made in the form of a straight regular triangular truncated prism, with wide base (11) attached to the corresponding wall of rectangular housing (2). Cells (19) of grid (10) of grate (9) are formed by crossing at least two sections (20, 21) of concentric circular hollow cylinders (22, 23) with radial passing plates (24) having common axis with circular hollow cylinders (22, 23).
EFFECT: technical result is possibility of operation of neutron collimator in conditions of strong radiation exposure by fast neutrons and gamma-quanta, high heat flux from plasma, impact of vibration, impact and electromagnetic loads.
