SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio engineering and can be used in telemetry systems. In the method of generating a FM signal, the FM signal is subjected to band-pass filtering, amplitude-limited from above, subjected to preliminary amplification and limited from below. Generated signal in the form of a sequence of radio pulses with latitudinal manipulation and manipulated initial phase is amplified by power and by means of band-pass filtration an emitted signal is generated, energy of non-band-passable spectral components is used at signal amplification up to output filtration.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of out-of-band spectral components in emitted phase-shift keyed signal (FM signal), simplicity of practical implementation.
