FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to devices for testing and measuring dynamic characteristics of gear units, mainly, hydraulic converters. Proposed test bench comprises drive motor 2 arranged on frame 1 and loading device made up of electric brake 3 connected with tested device – magnetic fluid converter 4 by means of drive and driven shafts 5 and 6 respectively. In order to fill the cavities of test hydraulic transformer 4 hydraulic system is provided in the form of vessel 7 with working fluid and pump 8, connected to tested hydraulic transformer 4 by means of pressure and drain lines 9 and 10, respectively. To control the measurements and to take readings, the test bench comprises control unit 13 and torque sensors 12 connected thereto, angular speed transducers 14 and pressure sensor 15. At that, the working fluid in the hydraulic transformer is represented by a magnetic fluid, and the control device is made in the form of a row of electromagnetic coils 16 installed on frame 1 in the plane of rotation of the tested hydraulic transformer 4. During operation of the stand, signal from control unit 13 is supplied to electromagnetic coils 16, which form electromagnetic field acting on working magnetic fluid, changing its viscosity and density until moment of angular speeds of driving and driven shafts 5 and 6, respectively.
EFFECT: invention allows performing tests of magnetic fluid hydraulic converters for evaluation of influence of control magnetic field on their output characteristics with simplification of test bench design.
