SUBSTANCE: invention relates to food industry, in particular, to production of biologically active additives intended for removal of toxic substances from the body and normalization of gastrointestinal tract (GIT). Composition in the form of a syrup for body detoxification includes as water-soluble enterosorbents polydextrose and inulin, as insoluble enterosorbents apple pectin, as biologically active substances taurine and succinic acid, as well as auxiliary substances and water in following ratio of components, wt. %: polydextrose - 20.4–81.7, inuline - 0.9–3.6, apple pectin - 4.0–16.0, taurine - 0.8–3.2, succinic acid - 0.2–0.8, water - 12.2–54.6, auxiliary substances are balance.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain a composition in the form of a syrup, which helps to reduce the time of eliminating symptoms of intoxication, providing additional protection of the liver from destructive action and recovery of gastrointestinal microflora.
