FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: method of producing electric current relates to electrical engineering and can be used for industrial production of electric power. Electric power is produced by creation between an emitter and an anode of an electrovacuum device containing an emitter, a collector and an anode, an electrostatic field, by means of which field emission is jointly caused and the formed electron flow is moved from the emitter to the collector, and the potential difference occurring between the collector and the emitter is used to obtain direct current in the payload circuit connected therewith.

EFFECT: technical result is increase in efficiency and simplification of conversion process of electric field energy into electric current energy.
