FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine and enables assessing professional suitability of dangerous professions specialists for operation under extreme conditions. Physiological and psychophysiological parameters are recorded and analyzed. Physiological parameters are age (A, years) and active orthostatic sample by 11-minute recording of cardiac rhythm variability (CRV): 5 minutes of the background test and 6 minutes - orthostatic, according to the results of which the sympatho-parasympathetic balance of the vegetative nervous system - LF/HF (cu) is determined. Following psychophysiological parameters are considered to be: personal adaptive potential (PAP, sthene) and disadaptation disorders (DAD, sthene) according to the Adaptability Multi-Level Personal Questionnaire. Neuropsychiatric resistance is also evaluated by the method of the Forecast Questionnaire and general personal anxiety (GPA, cu) by the Self-assessment of anxiety, frustration, aggressiveness and rigidity method. Further, an integral occupational fitness index (IOFI) is calculated by the claimed formula. If IOFI value is less than or equal to 21.7, expert suitability for operation under extreme conditions is evaluated. If IOFI is more than 21.7, expert's unfitness to operation under extreme conditions is assessed.

EFFECT: method provides high accuracy of determining professional suitability of specialists for operation in extreme conditions by evaluating a complex of the most significant physiological and psychophysiological parameters.
