FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a powder coating based on epoxy resin. Composition contains, wt. %: 50 to 80 epoxy resin based on bisphenol A, modified with diisocyanate, 1 to 5 curing agent, 1 to 5 auxiliary curing agent, 4 to 18 reinforcing agent and 10 to 25 pigment filler. Auxiliary curing agent contains epoxy polyol resin modified with alkanolamine; reinforcing agent contains epoxide. Described also are coatings formed by said composition on steel surfaces and steel pipe coated with said composition.
EFFECT: disclosed composition provides coatings with a glass transition temperature of 140 °C or higher, high heat resistance and high mechanical properties, such as flexibility, impact strength, adhesion, resistance to chemical attack, with efficient use of the composition for coating a steel pipe.
