FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder coating compositions, which provide protective coatings, in particular flexible coatings resistant to damages. Powder coating composition contains solid capable of cross-linked epoxide resin; particles of rubber of the core-shell structure in an amount of not more than 10 wt.% based on the total weight of the coating composition; a curing agent and a filler material in an amount of at least 25 wt.% based on the total weight of the coating composition; herewith the components are selected and used in the amounts to provide a cured coating not having reduced density, or in case of reduced density, it is not more than 15 % of theoretical density of a coating composition.
EFFECT: formation of flexible and resistant to damages coatings.
