SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, specifically to ophthalmology. That is followed by vitrectomy, vessel diathermy, endovitreal resection of the origin, endolaser coagulation of the retina (RELC), and a tamponade of the vitreal cavity with silicone oil. Three-port 25G vitrectomy is performed in the area of the retinal intraocular formation (RIF) center. Further, through one of the ports, a needle with nylon thread 10-0 is introduced into the vitreal cavity. Ligature is applied at distance of 2–3 mm from edge of focus to large and medium vessels extending directly to RIF center. Ligature is fixed with two nodes, and needle with suture is removed through port. That is followed by subtotal vitrectomy, removal of epiretinal membranes, diathermy, resection of RIF tissue and retinotomy with a vitrector in the RIF region. That is followed by RELC on the edge of retinotomy with a laser at wave length 532 nm at power 120–200 mW. Operation is completed by adding silicone oil to the vitreal cavity.

EFFECT: method enables providing a reduced risk of intraoperative and early postoperative hemorrhage, provides maximum removal of RIF centers, reduced time of surgical intervention.
