FIELD: medicine; ophthalmology.

SUBSTANCE: vitrectomy is performed, the inner limiting membrane (ILM) is removed in the macular region. After removal of the ILM, retinal detachment is performed in the central region of the macular region using subretinal injection of a BSS solution under the superior temporal vascular arcade through a 41G cannula and retinal puncture at a distance of one optic disc diameter from the edge of the optic disc. Then, through the puncture hole under visual control, the 25G endolaser probe is subretinally brought to the surface of the clot. A discharge with a power of 110 W is applied, with an exposure of 0.2 s, and the probe is removed together with the clot into the preretinal space, after which the clot is removed with a vitreotome.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce trauma and reduce the risk of retinal detachment and epiretinal fibrosis.
