SUBSTANCE: invention refers to pharmaceutical industry, namely to a method for preparing a laxative drug preparation based on buckthorn bark fragrance extract (Frangula alnus Mill.). Method for preparing a laxative medicinal preparation based on bark extract of fragrant bark (Frangula alnus Mill.), obtained by water-alcohol extraction, wherein water-and-alcohol extraction of Bark buckthorn by breaking is performed by dividing raw material milled into particles passing through a sieve with holes with diameter of 1 mm , 3 equal parts, each part is added with extractant - 40 % ethyl alcohol at a ratio of raw material - extractant is 1:10, and then the first part infuses for 48 hours, second - 12 hours, third - 30 minutes in a boiling water bath; then the raw material is squeezed, extraction is settled for 2 days in the cold at temperature of 8 °C for deposition of ballast substances, then filtered; obtained water-alcohol extraction of bark buckthorn bark is evaporated to thick extract with moisture content of not more than 25 %, talc - 3 % is added into thick extract, and after cooling starch is added in ratio of 1:1.

EFFECT: preparation prepared by the method described above has effective laxative action.
