SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to neurology and reflexotherapy, and can be used to treat delayed development in patients with autism spectrum disorders. Nakatani is diagnosed and biologically active points of classical meridians to be treated are selected, including control points and collar zone points, auricular points, as well as extra-meridian points located in projections on scalp of brain stem, frontal lobes, areas of cerebral cortex, including motor zones, speech zones of Broca and Wernicke. Selected points, in accordance with clinical manifestations, are exposed to microelectrophoresis and micro-current reflex therapy. That is ensured by sedative exposure to direct current of negative polarity at current intensity 30–130 mcA and time of therapeutic exposure to each biologically active point of 30–120 seconds. In the tonic mode, exposure is performed by alternating supply of pulses of positive and negative polarity with duration of 1–7 seconds. Microelectrophoresis is performed with sedative drugs, including sedative herbs and bromine, as well as preparations of nootropic group based on succinic acid. Treatment is daily with the duration of one session of 30–40 minutes and total number of sessions of 15–20 per therapeutic course.

EFFECT: method provides individual selection of a therapeutic regimen in various versions of excitation and speech disorders, enables extending the range of clinical manifestations to be treated, eliminating oxygen-dependent energy deficiency of cells in certain areas of the brain and achieving stable remission.
