FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of magnetic purification of technological liquids, lubricant - cooling liquids, washing detergents. Magnetic separator comprises body with nozzles and partitions. Horizontal magnetic conductors are installed in body in partition openings, being arranged in the form of tubes from non-magnet material, inside of which there are magnetic washers installed in working zone, which alternate with composite non-magnet bush, including balls. Non-magnet balls are available in non-working zones, which interact with drive of reciprocal motion of magnetic conductor elements at their ends. Volume of non-working chamber of body is filled with foam plastic. Cavity of working chamber of separator communicates with nozzles for supply of liquid to be cleaned and drain of cleaned liquid, and also with discharge pipeline for periodical supply of washing liquid. Method for extraction of magnetic particles from liquid medium includes continuous supply of separated liquid medium into capacity that contains combination of horizontal magnetic conductors. In mode of magnetic particles extraction liquid medium is sent to working chambers, and magnetic washers are displaced in magnetic conductors of working chambers by means of linear drive. In mode of hydraulic washout magnetic washers are displaced into magnetic conductors of non-working chambers, and deposited magnetic particles are removed from surface of magnetic conductors by flow of the cleaned liquid itself or washing liquid in turbulent mode.

EFFECT: improved quality of liquid cleaning, better efficiency of magnetic separator.
