FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road construction materials, specifically to methods of producing modifying compositions for asphalt-concrete mixtures when coating road surfaces, bridges and overpasses. Method of producing the modifying composition for asphalt-concrete mixtures involves mixing bitumen and a structuring additive and subsequent granulation of the composition. Structural additive used is textile cord fluff, with rubber crumbs, activated solution of polyisobutylene and synthetic rubber of isoprene SKI-3 in industrial oil I-40F, with following ratio of components, wt. %: textile cord lint 7.0–20.0; bitumen 5.0–30.0; activated rubber crumbs - balance.
EFFECT: invention increases efficiency of the process of preparing the modifying composition and the quality of the asphalt concrete coating.
